V-Fest 2016 was Insane!
Hylands park, Chelmsford, Essex
But...Years&Years obviously stole the show!

With their number one on the UK Albums Chart in July 2015 and the fastest-selling debut album of the year from a UK signed band as well as nominations at the Brit Awards with nominations for four awards - including British Breakthrough, Best British Band, Best Single and Best Video. We just knew we were onto a winner for a topping V-fest performance!
You can tell just by the photo of the crowd from V-fest that they just completely smashed their set giving the crowd a huge buzz of excitement and set the place on fire! (not literally)!!!
Olly completely stole the show with his incredible amount of energy bursting all over the stage with that amazing red outfit (well done wardrobe!) and OUTSTANDING vocals!
He blew us all away with his crazy dance moves and energy, then followed by his emotional version of 'eyes shut' played on the piano, after his heart warming speech about his gratitude towards his loyal fan base and all of the support he has been given by everyone after his hard start in life at school, getting bullied for being different.
Even though Olly told us all he was a little tipsy after a Pina Colada before going on stage......He absolutely smashed the vocals!!! Even if he did mention he thought he was going to be sick after prancing around on stage during 'Desire' and 'Gold'!
We can't say it affected his incredible vocals and performance skills though. despite the fact he looked slightly green!!!

The whole set was just INSANE! the vibe around the main stage where they played was just indescribable, apart from everyone having extremely happy vibes which spread around the festival!

They stole the show for all of the Years&Years fans and speaking to people they absolutely loved them even if they weren't major fans or hadn't listened to them before which is soooooo good!
Just to top it off they completely pulled it out the bag covering Drake's 'Hotline Bling' which went down an absolute treat!
Even though I heard another 2 or 3 acts after them i was still buzzing from their set even when i got back to the tent getting random campers to join in with me and my friends!
Well...The boys definitely didn't disappoint! Not forgetting the amazing talents they all have with:

Olly Alexander- vocals, keyboards, synthesizers.
Emre Türkmen - synthesizers, keyboards, beats, samples, sampling, sequencers, laptop, acoustic guitar.
Mikey Goldsworthy- synthesizers, keyboards, bass guitar, acoustic bass guitar.
also... Dylan Bell- drums (Live)
